January 2022 Athlete of the Month- Adi

Let’s hear it for our January AOTM…. Adi!!!

Adi jump started his CrossFit journey just over a year ago and has only made progress since then! Adi is one of our most “well hydrated” athletes, as he recently won our “Biggest Water Sipper” athlete of the year award for 2021! He always speeds into the parking lot, shows up early with a smile and his cell phone in hand ready to workout! He is a great example of consistency and the importance of that. 

Coach Jared said, “Adi may drink a lot of water, but he’s one awesome dude. He comes in day in and day out ready to work hard, and to be coached. He’s also super supportive of everyone else and encourages everyone in their workouts.” He’s been showing up consistently, applies the feedback from his coaches and continues to make progress every week. 

We love having you in our 2024 family Adi and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful gains in store for you! Keep it up!

Q: How long have you been doing CrossFit?

A: 1 year and 5 months

Q: Why did you originally hop on the CrossFit Express?

A: Physical well being

Q: What motivates you to keep going and working hard?

A: Visible results in the body and schedule

Q: What’s your favorite movements in CrossFit?

A: Handstands

Q: What are your long term goals (in fitness or in life)?

A: To continue pushing myself everyday in my journey towards fitness and success. Also, to keep achieving new PR’s in my lifts and my life! 

Q: What’s your biggest accomplishment since joining 2024?

A: Going from doing zero physical exercise to being a regular 5x a week CrossFit person

Q: Who is someone that inspires you at the box and why?

A: So many people! Always finding some new inspiration from someone at the box. 

Q: What’s one hidden talent you have or interesting fact about you?

A: I can almost walk on my hands now 😂

Q: Favorite movie?

A: Harry Potter series

Q: Favorite coffee/lunch/dinner spot in ATX?

A: Micklewaits for BBQ and granny tacos for tacos 

Q: What’s one item on your bucket list?

A: Travel all national parks in US

Q: Favorite Cheat Meal?

A: Indian food 😂

A: Crushing it at the box

A: Keep grinding, results will follow
