July Athlete of the Month- Chris

Let’s hear it for this month’s athlete of the month…. Chris!!!

Chris may have joined our family just 3 short months ago,  but we feel like he’s been in the family a lot longer. Every week Chris comes in, excited to attack the WOD, work on his CrossFit practice, make gains and have a lot of fun! He always works hard, has a positive attitude, has a coachable spirit and does extra work on the side growing stronger in his weaknesses (specifically with pull-ups). We love seeing athletes with this initiative and love having him in the family! We can’t wait to see all of the wonderful things in store for him in 2018! Keep it up Chris!

Q: How long have you been doing CrossFit?
A: 3 months

Q: Why did you originally hop on the CrossFit Express?
A: Looking for a more balanced workout that would keep me engaged.

Q: What’s your favorite movement in CrossFit?
A: Power Cleans

Q: What are your long term goals?
A: Being able to string together some pull-ups 

Q: What’s an interesting fact about you?
A: At one point my FIFA team was top 100 in the world. 

Q: Favorite movie?
A: Miracle

Q: Tell us of a time you laughed so hard you cried
A: The first time I saw Airplane

Q: Favorite joke?
A: What’s the best thing about Switzerland? I don’t know, but the flag’s a big plus. 

Q: What’s one item on your bucket list?
A: Get a barrel surfing
