June Athlete of The Month – Carlos

By: 0

Let’s hear it for this month’s athlete of the month…. Carlos!!!

Carlos joined our family four short months ago and we’ve loved every minute of it! Carlos is genuinely one of the nicest people (in the world) and always shows up with a great attitude and a desire to grow, while cheering on his fellow box family members! He might be newer to his CrossFit practice, but in many ways he’s like a seasoned veteran because of the maturity in which he approaches each day. Coach Joe recently had this to say about Carlos, ” I’m very proud of Carlos. He has made great progress in a short period of time. He brings a lot of focus and grit to every workout, and is a very dedicated athlete. So happy to have him as a part of our 2024 family!”

Carlos is always looking for ways to better himself, he receives feedback from our staff extremely well while approaching each day as an opportunity to grow! Side note, Carlos has what we would call a “growth mindset”… and it’s AWESOME! Everyone at the box enjoys Carlos’ company and loves how he’s just dove straight in without hesitation! Not only is he kicking butt inside the box, BUT he also graduated this weekend with his Masters in Clinical Counseling from Palo Alto University in California! We absolutely love having you in our 2024 family “Los” and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful gains 2019 has in store for you! Keep it up bud! 😀
