Let’s hear it for our May AOTM…. Megha!!!
What can we say about Megha other than she’s amazing and brings such a light to the gym! Megha recently started CrossFit but jumped straight in and wasn’t scared to make friends and try new things. While she may hate running she keeps a smile on her face the entire time!
Coach Jared says, “Megha is a ton of fun. She’s always so positive and encouraging to everyone in the classes and truly can’t be replaced when it comes to getting the community together for fun events. Every gym needs a positive fun person like Megha around.”

Q: How long have you been doing CrossFit?
A: 6 months in action
Q: Why did you originally hop on the CrossFit Express?
A: Was looking for a fitness class to stay active during COVID. Crossfit 2024 was my second fitness class attempt in Austin and we loved the homey ambience so decided to enroll.
Q: What motivates you to keep going and working hard?
A: The progress I see in myself and others around me.
Q: What’s your favorite movements in CrossFit?
Q: What are your long term goals (in fitness or life)?
A: Increasing endurance + eating healthy with proper calorie intake
Q: What’s your biggest accomplishment since joining 2024?
A: Running over 2 miles!!
Q: Who is someone that inspires you at the box and why?
A: David M – his determination, discipline and focus are inspiring!
Q: What’s one hidden talent you have or interesting fact about you?
A: I was a gymnast in middle-school. Trying to find that talent again.
Q: Favorite movie?
A: Tough to pick one! – Jurassic Park/Jaws/Interstellar

Q: What’s one item on your bucket list?
A: Scuba Diving

A: Vegan fried chicken sandwich (is what I’m craving right now)

A: Traveling to new places and getting some time off from work
Q: What’s something you’d say to someone considering joining CrossFit for the first time?
A: I’d say just do it – it’s going to suck for the first few weeks. Your body will go through a shock but it’s the best thing you can do to increase your stamina. The results are real and you’ll love the feeling of accomplishment after each workout!
