November Athlete Of The Month – Billy

By: 0

Let’s hear it for this month’s athlete of the month…. Billy!!!

Billy joined our family at the start of 2019 and has had a wonderful year of practice under his belt! Billy is one of the most CONSISTENT athletes, not only in showing up but also in his workouts, in his focus, in everything he does. Billy doesn’t let his determination and competitive drive overshadow his intelligent approach to each WOD. He approaches each rep and each day with a growth mindset, ready to work hard and backs it up with everything he’s got! Everyone at the box loves Billy as well! We have seen him make sincere and positive impacts of the lives of our athletes, not only inside the box but outside of the box too! Coach Jamie recently said this about him, “Billy is truly such a joy! I always love having him in my classes. Not only is the conversation (and Hip-Hop Musication every class) sensational, but He’s just a wonderful human being with a fun sense of humor. When he see’s athletes names on the board, he cheers for them showing up. He also never gives up!!! He shows up to class ready to put in the work, eager to continue making progress in his practice, while also listening to his body and is wise with where he pushes and where he holds back. There have definitely been many workouts where he’s inspiring me to pace better and where to push more! It’s awesome!”

We absolutely love having you in our 2024 family Billy and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful gains in store for you! Keep it up! ?
