October Athlete Of The Month – Yakov
Let’s hear it for this month’s athlete of the month…. Yakov!!!
Yakov was one of our founding members when our doors opened in back in 2017. That’s when he officially began his CrossFit journey. He has been a constant source of presence, encouragement, joy and mobility goals in and to our box family. Each day when he arrives, he jogs in with a smile while waving his hand high to each of his classmates eager to start his morning off with that day’s WOD. Yakov has an incredible athletic ability, is smart, humble and strong. With each rep his internal drive to get better is apparent. Everyone at the box loves him and he never “disrespects the iron” by stepping over his barbell. Coach Jared recently said this about him, “As as coach, I really appreciate how Yakov is a positive light every time he walks in the door. I’m always excited to have him in class! He works super hard, but he’s also just a really great guy… and happy!”
We absolutely love having you in our 2024 family Yakov and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful gains in store for you! Keep it up!
